I suppose what you mean is if you shoot at 30 it gives you room to move. So if ya wanna slow it down a bit you can. I shoot at 25fps, and shoot slow mo as and when I need it at maybe 120 or whatever camera is capable of. Good info though, handy to know.

If you’re filming everything at 30 but then you put it in a 24 timeline, aren’t you going to get some jitter? Or are you talking about b-roll only and then slow everything by 20% for those clips

One thing why gopro company is not giving a simple jack in camera so the user can connect any mic or attach a adapter which has ports of 3.5 mm and c type so you can attach multi type of mics wireless or with wire . But the company is very clever . People's are bound to purchase costly media mod or mic adapter and waste their precious money . Overall your video is very useful and informative 👍

Can't return them in Canada (because they're wearable), but I slightly regret getting the transitions, they don't get too dark, and won't get dark in the car. But other than that, I love them! :)

I bought this camera recently, and did a shoot and found that with tracking off, my focus on my face (about half body shot, so not too far away) kept jumping to the background and back. I do think I was a little backlit, but I'm thinking of returning it due to this. Have you seen this?

I saw it in a LensCrafters shop in Vancouver, Canada. Looks like a cheap plastic body. I need with progressive lens, but Meta with a progressive lens will cost 700-800$ with taxes. I'm waiting for a Chinese knockoff for 20-30$ soon. I have some expensive sunglasses from Ray-Ban, Italian fashion houses, Serengeti with real optical lenses (not polycarbonate or plastic ones), and metal sport polarized glass made in Italy, but I can't wear them now due to my prescription glass. I can't see clearly with sunglasses.

Unless you know how to record on Apple Log and color grade, you're wasting your time on these lenses. Because your vids will look like cookie cutter iPhone. Which is over contrasr, over saturated images.

I wish peak design would buy edelkrone. edelkrone’s products are good, but need to be finessed. I have several edelkrone products and they just plain leave necessary things out-like switches. it’s crazy to burn through batteries because there is no switch (this is also a pretty unique omission). in the case of this flextiltmax (I too have the original) and yes, it does look tempting, though also a bit unstable, but the missing slot/magnet for the allen key is crazy (and exactly the sort of feature that peak design engineers into their products).

Do you know if the Hohem would work the Insta360 ONE RS and case? I am thinking with a short USB C jumper cable ti might. Bit question is whether the Insta360 ONE RS would recognize the Hohem as external mic. Any thoughts? Thank you for your excellent channel. Subscribed.

Nice review. I've been using PGYTECH stuff since it is much less expensive than Peak Design's stuff and after 2 years with some of it, they're still doing great. My issue (and what lead my to your video) is that I hike with hiking poles in the Wasatch Mountains here in Utah. Most straps hang my camera (big DSLR because - I love them :) ) off to my side, and make it kind of difficult to be swinging my hiking poles next to me as my camera is swinging along too. You lead me down the backpack (cotton clip) route. I am going to try a few brands of clips like that and see if they'll hold up to my Pentax K-3 Mark iii and what ever healthy sized lens I have hanging off the front of it. Went from Samsung Galaxy s20 fe to iPhone 15. New disappointment everyday. I’d rather have another semi-reliable Samsung that will fail me in 2-4 years than this iPhone. Sure it works reliably, but so did my old flip phone. I paid way too much money to have a basic-ass phone that can’t do a whole lot.
